This Moulin Rouge Windmill is for sale following it being used as a prop for my Moulin Rouge themed birthday. It looked absolutely amazing!I bought it from a National Trust property who had it professionally made for a big function they held. A lot of hard work and skill has gone into making it.
It’s made from 18mm MDF board. The sails detach making it shorter and easier to transport. The sails also turn manually or with a motor. I imagine a motor from a disco ball or something similar would work. I used it without and it was still spectacular. It has fairy lights that are fixed into the Moulin Rouge wording which really made it stand out. The lights are on a very long reel making it possible to plug in almost anywhere.
Dimensions as follows:
303.5 cm tall with sail attached
122.5 cm at widest part
229 cm to top without sail attached
There is a hinged stand on the back so that it can stand independently. It is 71 cm deep.
There are a few minor scuffs, which are not really noticeable but can be easily rectified (see photos).
